Of the ten 2009 Polaris Prize Shortlist Artists, three of the poster designers hail from Edmonton: Lyle Bell (for Elliott BROOD), Jeff Kulak (Hey Rosetta!) and Kirsten McCrea (Patrick Watson).
Lyle also plays in tons of awesome Edmonton bands including Shout Out Out Out Out and Whitey Houston.
Jeff does fantastic sketches of bicycles and tshirt designs for Pop Echo Records.
Kristin makes anarchist trading cards.
