Notes:
Official Selection #3 is an investigation of Black and White
It is about longing, identity, (begrudgingly) accepting what you are, and stumbling into curious new configurations in the attempt to become something else.
It is also my question and examination of the medium itself - how in-depth an exploration into any topic can be had through a collection of songs? can it ever offer a succinct narrative?
if this sounds all too hoity-toity in the least please notice the herky-jerky freak-out nod to the paul mccartney and michael jackson fissure in the middles of the mix.
