The Big Sandwich is electronics, straight-up. No question Markus Vuorensola can easily out-name you both 20 n0-wave live bootlegs and flying lotus beat tapes but dude knows blips and bloops to boot. no skronk electro here. Real, please.
CJSR superstar Aaron Levin's Weird Canada is the home of n0/new-school:freakbeat/psych/kooky.
Think Headphone-Bedroom.
This be all for the love of the basement.

Lyle also plays in tons of awesome Edmonton bands including Shout Out Out Out Out and Whitey Houston.
Jeff does fantastic sketches of bicycles and tshirt designs for Pop Echo Records.
Kristin makes anarchist trading cards.
Cool.

Lando Speers is an immensely talented photographer with a keen sense for capturing energy and aggression. Little wonder that the best Red Hot Daggers photos were his. He also has an intimate understanding of gizmos, which makes his musical projects, "Headaches" and "St. Gilles" so fascinating.

Same goes for Bryan Kulba and Kobot Industries. Actually if he fronted a punk band it'd still be called Bayonets!!!
When it comes to hustle though, no one can touch Given Collective aka Kevin Boothe. This kid has game on lock. Basically his older self must have built a time machine to transport work back to younghim, cause no other explanation will do. Check out Kevin's Document Magazine. so trill.

Armies of musicians especially owe each of them a debt of gratitude for all the incredible poster and album artwork they've done.
They're also responsible for your summer looking like this:

Also now available online are the lyrics to Songs To Sing When You're Dead:
"there's a tombstone on my front lawn and it's my own
but i'm inside writing songs and talking on the phone
four days have been spent inside my garden cleaning
or lying on my bed dying and dreaming
maybe i'll be leaving in the morning
maybe i'll be at the gates of hell
maybe i'll be in your arms tomorrow mourning
or at the bottom of the well
seven years have passed since my crimes
changed every law and laid down lives
but the drums inside my head will keep on beating
and the wives in all my dreams will keep on cheating"
